From the first sketch to the final sparkle, your costume experience is designed to be personal, organized, and unforgettable.

1. Reserve Your Collection

Select the collection that best represents your dancer’s vision, performance goals, and desired level of customization.

Your reservation secures your design space within the Kirstin Davis Design season calendar.

2. Welcome & Booking Confirmation

Once your collection is reserved, you will receive a welcome email containing:

  • Your booking confirmation
  • Important deadlines
  • Required forms
  • Measurement instructions
  • Next steps for your design journey

3. Personal Designer Communication

Your costume journey is a collaborative process.

Communication will take place through:

Email

  • Contracts
  • Invoices
  • Sketch approvals
  • Important documentation

Text Messaging

  • Quick updates
  • Reminders
  • Production milestones
  • Time-sensitive communication

This allows your project to remain organized while providing a personal designer experience throughout the process.

4. Private Design Consultation

Every custom design begins with a personalized consultation with Kirstin.

60-Minute Private Design Consultation

Consultation Investment: $50
(Applied toward your costume balance when your appointment is attended.)

To create the strongest design possible, please have:

  •  Music selected
  •  Choreographer approval 
  •  Choreography finalized or in progress
  •  Inspiration images available
  •  Preferred colors, themes, or design ideas ready to discuss
  •  Consultations are recommended at least 2 months before your reserved delivery month.

Appointment Policy:
Missed appointments or late arrivals cannot be extended beyond the scheduled consultation time. A new consultation appointment will need to be scheduled if missed.

5. Design Approval & Production Begins

Once your final design is approved, your costume enters production.

Your production balance will be collected based on your selected collection:

  • 50% production deposit required
    or
  • Remaining balance paid in full before production begins

Once production begins, your costume enters the creation phase and changes to the approved design may not be possible.

6. Final Creation & Delivery

Your completed costume will be finished and shipped within your reserved delivery month.

Please note:

  • Delivery month refers to the scheduled production window.
  • A specific delivery date cannot be guaranteed.
  • Tracking information will be provided once your costume ships.

To create the best possible experience for every dancer, please understand:

  • Your costume design includes collaboration, but final artistic execution remains with Kirstin Davis Design.
  • Revision limits are based on your selected collection.
  • Additional redesigns, major changes, or added elements outside your collection may require additional fees.
  • Timely communication is essential to maintaining your production timeline.
