Sizing & Measurements

Every Kirstin Davis Design costume is individually drafted and handmade specifically for your dancer.

Because each costume is custom made, accuracy is essential.

Please keep the following in mind:

• Costumes are created from the measurements submitted on this form.

• Measure carefully and verify each measurement before submitting. (Measure twice!)

• If you are uncertain about any measurement, we recommend having your dancer measured by an experienced seamstress, tailor, or dance professional.

• Competition costumes are designed to fit securely for performance and may fit differently than everyday clothing.

• If adjustments become necessary due to incorrect measurements submitted by the customer, alteration services are available through That Sew Co. for an additional fee, or you may choose to work with a trusted local alterations professional. (Small adjustments can be a normal part of owning custom costumes and can typically be completed by a local alterations professional if needed.)

• Because every costume is made exclusively for your dancer, custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Our goal is always to create a costume that fits beautifully and your dancer feels confident wearing on stage, and we'll gladly answer measurement questions before production begins. Once production begins,  measurement changes will not be accepted.

Production Reminder

Production begins approximately 3 months before your scheduled delivery month.

For example:

• November Delivery → Production begins in September

We recommend submitting measurements as close to your production window as possible. Please avoid submitting measurements too far in advance whenever possible, as young dancers can grow quickly. Thank you!
